EFF sues the DOJ for withholding records of telecom surveillance immunity lobbying
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the best known defender of consumer rights in the electronic world, has launched a lawsuit agains the Department of Justice (DoJ) for failing to reply within the required timeframe to a Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) request concerning the collaboration between the government and telecommunications companies in wiretapping conversations of American citizens.
