Paul Colton of Aptana reports that the first beta of Ajaxer - an AJAX server - has been released. This allows simplified development utilizing ajax. They've also assembled a team of advisors to help them determine the future of this technology including Brendan Eich (CTO, Mozilla Corp.), John Resig (Mozilla Corp.), Alex Russell (SitePen, Dojo), Dion Almaer (TheServerSide.Com, Ajaxian.Com), Dylan Schiemann (CEO, SitePen), Jack Slocum (CEO EXT JS), Ben Galbraith (Ajaxian.Com), and Greg Wilkins (CTO, WebTide).
