I have to agree with Tapscott's premise. Memorization is no longer the core need it once was, not that there isn't still room for memorization in some limited areas, but nearly to the extent it was useful in the past. Further, now learning is more about analytical and critical thinking skills. Understanding how to correctly process all the available information.
